UPSC NDA 2 Result 2019:

Union Public Service Commission has uploaded the result of written exam of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination, (II) 2019, today i.e. on 12 December 2019.

NDA/NA Exam- National Defence Academy

NDA/NAExam is a national level exam organized by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year ( 2 times in a year)to recruit candidates in Army, Navy and Air Force. It is a two-tier examination, wherein, candidates qualifying the written test will also have to clear the SSB interview round.

As per Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 16.5 years

Maximum Age: 19.5 years

As per Educational Qualification:–

Army Wing of National Defence Academy: The Candidates willing to apply for the Indian Army must possess a class 12/HSC in 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy of National Defence Academy: The Candidates willing to apply for Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy must possess a class 12/HSC in 10+2 pattern of School Education with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

As per Physical standard:

Candidates willing to appear for NDA 2019 must be physically and mentally fit, according to the prescribed physical standards of the conducting authority i.e. SSB (Services Selection Board). A candidate recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

Undesirable health issues

The candidate must not be suffering from any of these minor conditions at the time of medical examination –

1.Wax (Ears)

2. Deviated Nasal Septum

3. Hydrocele / Phimosis

4. Condition of Overweight / Underweight

5. Under Sized Chest

6. Piles

7. Tonsillitis

8. Gynaecomastia

9. Varicocele

The candidate must possess good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of military duties. The candidates selected by the authority will be admitted to the academy for further training.
