ACC-Army Cadet College
Hey people, if any soldier wants to become an officer in Indian army then ACC stands for Army Cadet College, is an institution which selects and trains regular army soldiers to become an officer in the Indian army. The Army Cadet College Wing trains soldiers from the regular army, navy and air force for commission as officers in the Indian Army. It has 3 companies. The ACC feeds into the Indian Military Academy.
The nature of training at ACC and National Defence Academy (India) is nearly identical – both run a 3-year degree course in science and humanities. The added advantage that the ACC cadets bring to the Army as officers are a deep understanding of the soldier life and a consequently better appreciation of the tasking of the men.

ACC Written Exam Pattern:-
There is 4 paper of written examination listed below:-
Paper-1 General Mental Ability:-
There will be 150 objective type questions of two marks each. The paper will consist of three sections:-
- Reasoning Ability (Verbal): 75 questions: 150 Marks
- Non – verbal Reasoning: 15 questions: 30 Marks
- Numerical Ability: 60 questions: 120 Marks
Paper-2 Current General Awareness:-
This will consist of 150 objective type questions of two marks each.
This General Awareness section aimed for testing the knowledge of the candidates about the current event happening around, the topic will be asked like the international event, national event and what is the recent advancement happened in defence sector etc.
Paper-3 Interactive Communicative English:-
There will be two papers for Interactive Communicative English.
- Part I will consist of 120 objective type questions of one mark each for a duration of one hour.
- Part II will consist of descriptive type questions for 180 marks for a duration of two hours.
Paper-4 Academic Content Test:-
There will be three sections of this test-
- Mathematics- 50 Questions -100 Marks
- General Science- 50 Questions-100 Marks
- Humanities- 50 Questions-100 Marks
If you qualify ACC Entry Examination then you go through SSB Interview.
